Three of the commitments expressed here that resound with me are the commitments to engaging students in their own learning, always improving, and doing both in dialogue with the scholarship on teaching and learning.

And I love the Palmer quote too. While I was in college myself, reading one of his books made a profound impact on me and on my understanding of and vision for teaching and learning.
